The Stats:
Why We Love It
Summerhill is a great area to live in. Shop at the “4 Thieves”–a strip of high-end grocers and shops–or walk along Yonge street and enjoy a meal on Terroni’s rooftop patio. You can also join in on a game at The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club. The Summerhill real estate mix includes many turn-of-the-century homes, as well as modern townhouses, semi-detached houses, and low-rise condos.
Neighbourhood Highlight
The Summerhill LCBO, formerly the North Toronto Railway Station, is valued for its unique architecture. Once the city’s travel hub, this converted space is now one of Toronto’s largest liquor stores.
The Entertainment
Summerhill real estate is located minutes away from the great shops on Yonge Street and our favourite local restaurant, the Rosedale Diner. The nearby Rosehill Reservoir Park featuring playgrounds, flower gardens and water features is a go-to destination.
The Transit
Yonge Street runs through the Summerhill neighbourhood, and provides easy access to transit at both the Summerhill and Rosedale subway stations. This neighbourhood is very walkable and most errands can be done on foot.
The Locals
Summerhill real estate is popular with those looking for a quiet atmosphere in an established community. It features a diverse combination of downsizers, seniors, singles and young couples.
