Eataly’s Spring Fest
First, let’s shout out to one of the newest events in the city that we are already head over heels in love with. Foodies, take note, Eataly’s Spring Fest is a true treat for your taste buds.
Get ready to enjoy a fantastically delicious celebration of all things Italian. Bring a healthy appetite because a single ticket gives you access to multiple tasting sessions. What’s on the menu?
Fresh homemade pasta, wood fire pizza, and sweet Italian desserts to start with. There will also be a vast selection of regional wines and beers to test out along the way.
And what is a food festival without entertainment? A live, local band will keep your toes tapping, and you can learn how to make your own pasta during a demonstration from the cooking school.
If you can’t make the festival, all is not lost! Eataly is open year round, with a collection of restaurants and gourmet markets that ensure you and your loved ones never go hungry.

Sakura in Toronto
“Sakura” is the Japanese word for cherry blossom, and catching sight of these exquisite beauties is one of the highlights of the spring season. Though green spaces such as High Park make for stunning scenery anytime, it’s especially noteworthy when the cherry blossoms begin to bloom each spring. Scenic walking paths wind through thousands upon thousands of beautiful blooms, a dazzling sight that draws massive crowds from far and wide.
This spectacular natural display is unlike anything you have ever seen before, and you’ll want to check back every year near the end of April to early May. Though the blossoms are a crowd pleaser, it’s not an official event, so you and your family can drop by at your convenience.
If High Park gets a little too crowded for your tastes, there are other places in Toronto where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. You’ll find plenty of cherry blossoms in various parks and venues across the city, including at Exhibition Place, Toronto Island Park, Edwards Gardens , Woodbine Park, York University, and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
Summerlicious
Food lovers who live in Toronto have much to celebrate all year – every year! Summerlicious is our most famous, mouth-watering food festival during the warmer months.
More than 200 Toronto restaurants participate by offering a three-course prix fixe menu to new and returning patrons. It’s the perfect time to explore a new cuisine or indulge in an old favourite.
Having trouble deciding between all of the delicious options? Not to worry! The festival runs for at least two weeks, so there is plenty of time to indulge every craving.
Winterlicious
A year is way too long to wait for yet another delicious food festival. Fortunately, you don’t have to, because Winterlicious is on the way! Taking place during the first two weeks of February, this food-tastic event is just the thing to warm your soul on a chilly day.
Once again, hundreds of Toronto’s top independent restaurants feature a prix fixe menu, and no chain restaurants are permitted to participate. This gives you a chance to sample new cuisines and add a few new comfort foods to your list of favourite dishes.
Toronto Caribbean Carnival
